Only really weird noise it makes is a cold rattle at low rpm on decel, which is a known and harmless issue. Quoted: I've never heard of that for lemon law either. It's possible the dealer is just agreeing to buy it back as good faith customer service, but that might be even more surprising to me.

Every time I leave the engine running and someone walks by they stare at it because of the noise and I often receive comments from people in the know that it sounds like a diesel pickup.
Exhaust noise is normal but there is a distinct clicking noise from the engine that makes it sound exactly like a diesel pickup. Truck currently has 63K miles and has made the noise since I purchased two years ago with 34K. No other problems noticeable. Any thoughts? I suspect a worn camshaft and lifters.
Do you have any idea if the previous owner did timely oil changes?
