Why yuvraj is not playing

Yuvraj had quit all forms of cricket in June after remaining out of the Indian team for quite a while. However, the left-hander has now decided to have a final shot at winning trophies for Punjab and helping nurture the next generation of cricketers in the state.

While their remains uncertainty over the domestic season in India this year which has already been delayed by months due to the coronavirus pandemic, BCCI might stage a curtailed season consisting of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy and Ranji Trophy.

Opening up on his desire to return, Yuvraj said winning trophies for Punjab and guiding the talent in the team has been his biggest motivation.
