Where is petrie museum

Free to visit, the Petrie Museum of Egyptian and Sudanese Archaeology is home to one of the most important collections of Egyptian and Sudanese archaeology in the world. This extraordinary collection tells the stories of the lives of ordinary people who lived along the Nile Valley thousands of years ago. We are happy to announce that the museum is open to the general public Tuesday-Friday 1pm-5pm and Satudays 11am-5pm, with safety measures and pre-booking in place.

Tickets go online two weeks in advance, with a few more released on the day. The safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors is paramount and so we have decided to keep in place a number of our Covid safety measures beyond 19 July.
